Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 910 58th Street in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located between 9th Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway, the lot is near the Ft. Hamilton Parkway subway station, serviced by the N train. Chung Lam of 38 Realty Holding Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 11,214 square feet, with 8,996 square feet designated for residential space and 2,217 square feet for community facility space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 899 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

  1. Oh, great. Very little hope that this will be anything but another dismal instant slum like the recently built atrocities next door. Can’t community boards propose some constraints on this kind of speculative development that is degrading the housing stock in this area of Brooklyn?
