The affordable housing lottery has launched for 6020 3rd Avenue, a five-story residential building in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Designed by Tan Architect and developed by Ai Yun Chen, the structure yields 53 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 16 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $99,258 to $187,330.

Amenities includes pet-friendly policies, bike storage lockers, shared laundry room, elevator, and outdoor terrace. Residences will have dishwashers, energy-efficient appliances, air conditioning, hardwood floors, and patios or balconies.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one one-bedroom with a monthly rent of $3,140 for incomes ranging from $107,658 to $156,130, and 15 two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,895 for incomes ranging from $99,258 to $187,330.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than March 6, 2023.

  6. This not Low Income, This is The Rich and Famous Income,
    Wonder who came out with Low Income??? I only Live Of SSI Because I am Disabled I have Multiple Sclerosis I used a Walker to move around I Have MS it was not my choice to get Sick It Just came to my Life.
    So how can I Afford this Apartments. Don’t have Section 8 To help me pay for my rent only have my SSI Monthly Check. WoW Affordable housing poor me and all I wish for it’s to live in Brooklyn NY close to my daughter and beautiful Grandchildren who I Miss Terribly. I am too sick and too weak Please Lord help me get to Brooklyn NY each day feeling more and more sick. It’s hard for me to travel I need an Apartment in Brooklyn NY. But this apartments not Affordable Housing Should I need to keep Suffering??? I really miss my family. I cry night and Day for them all and MS and Depression It’s not a Good Combination and NO they Can’t come see me they are all little I just want an Apartment I’m Brooklyn NY I Need It…Am I supposed to died far away from my family? 😭 347-420-4646 Thanks in advance for any help.
