The affordable housing lottery has launched for The Bayard, a six-story residential building at 150 Bayard Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Charles Mallea and developed by Solomon Feder, the structure yields 46 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 14 units for residents at 80 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $47,520 to $187,330.

Amenities include pet-friendly policies, a garage with assigned parking spaces, bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, common area Wi-Fi, gym, yoga and dance studio, outdoor terrace, recycling center, package lockers, elevator, and gated access. Residences come with dishwashers, air conditioning, patios or balconies, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 80 percent of the AMI, there are two studios with a monthly rent of $1,288 for incomes ranging from $47,520 to $85,440; two one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,342 for incomes ranging from $49,783 to $96,080; and four two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,622 for incomes ranging from $60,378 to $115,280.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one studio with a monthly rent of $2,463 for incomes ranging from $84,446 to $138,840; two one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,631 for incomes ranging from $90,206 to $156,130; and three two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,142 for incomes ranging from $107,726 to $187,330.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than November 25, 2022.
