Permits have been filed for a six-story school building at 50 Lawrence Avenue in Kensington, Brooklyn. Located between McDonald Avenue and Seton Place, the interior lot is one block south of the 18th Avenue subway station, serviced by the F train. Ari Lew of the Lawrence Charitable Trust is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 52,800 square feet, with 40,956 square feet designated for community facility space. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Yevgeniy Mekhtiyev of IMC Architecture is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
