Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 342 43rd Street in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Located between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue, the lot is two blocks north of the 45th Street subway station, serviced by the N and R trains. Benjamin Yam is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 7,114 square feet, with 5,828 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have six residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 971 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 35-foot-long rear yard.

Xiaohong Zhao of Ameriland Brook LLC is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet for the residential structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
