Permits have been filed for a 22-story mixed-use building at 2551 Broadway on the Upper West Side, Manhattan. Located between West 95th Street and West 96th Street, the interior lot is steps from the 96th Street subway station, serviced by the 1, 2, and 3 trains. Tyler Workman under the Paragon JV Prop III LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 235-foot-tall development will yield 276,578 square feet, with 215,866 square feet designated for residential space and 9,080 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 130 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,660 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and sub-cellar.

Stephen B. Jacobs Group is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Let us hope it is a good one..great location.

  2. Fine.. Except who’s going to be responsible for making sure that the water and sewerage infrastructure in that area will be protected and fortified. Also, there’ll be even more crowding on the subway at 96th St ….. With Andy Byford, the Price of sanity and integrity gone who’s going to make sure there wont be daily disruption and mania at this location with neighbors getting more and more hysterical dealing with the crowding on the 1 2 and 3 lines at this location?
