Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 680 Lorimer Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Meeker Avenue and Lorimer Street, the lot is four blocks north of the Lorimer Street subway station, serviced by the L train. Cheskie Weiss under the 680 Lorimer LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 25,467 square feet, with 25,167 square feet designated for residential space and 300 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 25 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,006 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 50-foot-long rear yard.

Mohamed Mabrouk of MHM Engineering is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
