Permits have been filed for an eight-story apartment building at 1760 Boone Avenue in Crotona Park East, the Bronx. Located between East 172nd Street and Jennings Street, the lot is close to the Freeman Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Stagg Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 73-foot-tall development will yield 66,083 square feet, with 50,231 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 77 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 652 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and 39 enclosed parking spaces.

Mohammad Badaly of Badaly Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. I don’t have to use the Magnifier. It’s so obvious, thank you so much! You are the reporter. (Hello New York YIMBY)

  2. Bad Bad Badaly. Sad Sad Sad to see.

  3. Yes another Bad Badaly design. Why don’t they change their style at least sometimes. A little diversity never hurt a developer.

  4. So many buildings under construction along the Sheridan, total transformation occurring.

Sorry for the wrong info. you can get a bus #15 on 3rd Ave, only 3 blocks away to E 149 St Subway, there you can get the 2 4 5 going Downtown.
