Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 2010 Walton Avenue in Tremont, The Bronx. Located between East 179th Street and East Burnside Avenue, the lot is one block from the Burnside Avenue subway station, serviced by the 4 train. E & G Walton Developers LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 31,716 square feet, with 27,815 square feet designated for residential space. It will have 43 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 646 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Fred Geremia Architects & Planners is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in late February of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  3. Houses of worship are needed in this area
To remove one is an injustice to the people of the area.
It was very unfortunate that people were taking money from the church !it would be a Lessing if a Church remain part of the new Building to serve the people !
