Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 50 Commercial Street, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The site is located between Clay and Box Streets, in the northern end of the neighborhood. Nearby transportation includes the LIRR at Long Island City, the ferry at India Street, and the G train at Greenpoint Avenue, all of which are within a half mile’s walk. Nicholas Manetta, founder of Rimani Realty, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The concrete building will yield 32,642 square feet, with residential space taking up 20,213 square feet and commercial space occupying another 2,681 square feet. 27 units will be created within the 108-foot tall structure, averaging 749 square feet each, a sign rentals are likely. The corner lot will also have three off-street parking spaces.

T.F. Cusanelli and Filletti Architects is listed as the architect of record.

No demolition permits have been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
