Located in the Bronx neighborhood of Williamsbridge near the Bronx River Parkway, a new eight-story residential building will rise at 3073 Barker Avenue. The ground-up structure set on the interior of the block will include a cellar level and a total of 25 units.

Vyacheslav Faybyshev of Omni Build is listed as behind the applications. The same developer is also responsible for construction at 2279 Barker Avenue, a project of similar size and makeup just seven blocks away.

The total square footage of the project will measure 24,195 square feet, with the residential units taking up 16,869 square feet. With units averaging 968 square feet apiece, condos appear more likely than rentals. The building also has allotted space for unspecified community facilities, and will stand 80 feet tall.

Dome Architecture and Design was hired to design the future structure.

The building sits close to Burke Avenue. It is located two blocks from the Burke Avenue subway station, serving the 2 and 5 trains. The New York Botanical Garden is also a couple blocks away.

As of yet, no demolition permits have been filed nor has a completion date has been announced.
