Located at 2800 Goulden Avenue, at the perpendicular intersection of West 197th Street and Goulden Avenue, a new nursing education facility will soon span 51,670 square feet. The building is being designed by Urbahn Architects PLLC, an architecture firm located in the Garment District in Manhattan.
The site, situated in the Kingsbridge neighborhood of The Bronx, is part of Lehman College, located across the street from the southern tip of Jerome Park Reservoir, and half a mile to the west of Fordham University.
Filed permits indicate that the project will be constructed with a steel structure and stand about 60 feet when completed. The nearest subway stop is the Kingsbridge Road station on the 4 Train.
No completion date for the project has been announced yet.
