Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1043 Halsey Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The site is two blocks away from the Halsey Street subway station, serviced by J and Z trains, and two stops from the Broadway Junction intersection with access to the A, C, and L trains. Ronald Chien is listed as responsible for the development.

The 50-foot tall structure will yield 6,400 square feet, with 4,400 square feet dedicated to residential use. Five apartments will be created, averaging 880 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. The top unit will extend from the fourth floor into a penthouse space, making it a duplex. Residents will have access to accessory storage.

The designer is B2 Code Consultants and the applicant of record is Saleh and Associates.

Demolition permits have not been filed, and the estimated completion date has not been announced.
