Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 1318 Southern Boulevard, in Foxhurst, The Bronx. The site is a block away from the Freeman Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. SKF Development LLC is listed as the developer.

The 74-foot tall structure will yield 46,650 square feet, with 39,820 square feet dedicated to residential use, 580 square feet for a medical facility, and 2,430 square feet for ground-floor retail. 59 apartments will be created, averaging 675 square feet apiece, indicating rentals.

Tenants will have access to 18 parking spaces, accessory storage space, and room to park 27 bicycles in the cellar and seven on the eight floor beside a shared recreational space.

Badaly Architects are responsible for the design.

Demolition permits have not been filed for the single-story structure on site. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
