A rendering, as well as new details, have surfaced for the five-story, 30-bed rehabilitation facility, dubbed The Hook Recovery Center, under development at 411 Van Brunt Street, in Red Hook. The facility, founded by Michael Mosberg and developed by the Leser Group, will be an upscale, “self-pay” center for individuals suffering from drug addiction.

The latest building permits, which describe the project as a hotel, indicate it will measure 22,500 square feet. There will be 3,720 square feet of medical space on the ground and second floors. John Schimenti’s Lynbrook, N.Y.-based architecture firm is the architect of record. Piling work appears to be underway and completion is expected in 2017, DNAinfo reported.
