Located at 36-20 Steinway Street in Long Island City, Queens, the ground-up new build is designed by SLCE Architects and developed by JMH Development and Mettle Property Group. Exterior work is progressing rapidly on Google’s 1.3 million-square-foot office at 550 Washington Street in Hudson Square. Designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed by Oxford Properties, the building is the main component of the “Googleplex” that encompasses a total of 1.7 million square across three structures, along with 315 Hudson Street and 345 Hudson Street. Turner Construction is responsible for building the 12-story edifice that spans two full city blocks between West Street, West Houston Street, Washington Street, and the New York Department of Sanitation building.

Exterior work is now complete on 11 Greene Street, a seven-story residential building in Soho. The property is designed by Gene Kaufman Architects and developed by Arch Companies, which took over from Thor Equities and secured a $45 million loan to finish the project in early 2018. Located at the corner of Greene and Canal Streets, the building yields 31 units ranging from one- to two-bedroom layouts alongside a three-bedroom penthouse.
