The affordable housing lottery has launched for Borinquen Place, a seven-story residential building at 49 Borinquen Place in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by BTE Design Services and developed by Yisroel Greenfeld, the structure yields 16 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $121,303 to $198,250.
Exterior work is progressing on 204 4th Avenue, a 13-story residential building in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by L+Z Architecture and developed by Avery Hall and Gindi Capital, the 200,000-square-foot structure will yield 193 rental units and 14,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Leeding Builders Group is the general contractor for the project, which is alternately addressed as 653 Union Street and is located on a half-acre rectangular plot bound by Sackett Street to the north and Raul Vasquez Jr. Place to the south.
Work is nearing the finish line on Two Clinton Park, a 28-story residential building at 28 South Division Street in downtown New Rochelle, New York. Designed by Lessard Design with MdeAS Architects as the project architect and RXR as the developer, the 513,000-square-foot structure will yield 390 rental apartments in studio to three-bedroom layouts, nearly 24,000 square feet of amenities, and more than 7,500 square feet of retail space in the lower levels. Along with its adjacent sibling One Clinton Park, the development will offer more than 29,000 square feet of retail space. The property is alternately addressed as 55 Clinton Place and stands on the site of a former parking garage bound by Church Street to the north and South Division Street to the south.
Nexstar Media Group, the largest TV station operator in the United States, has secured a full-floor sublease at 1301 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown, Manhattan. Nexstar will rent 68,114 square feet on the building’s seventh floor from tax advisory firm CohnReznick. The deal was facilitated by Avison Young.
Permits have been filed for a 14-story mixed-use building at 1760 Jerome Avenue in Mt. Hope, The Bronx. Located between East 175th Street and East 176th Street, the lot is within walking distance of 176th Street subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Non-profit ACMH Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
