L&L Holding Company, in collaboration with renowned artist Anthony James and SPACE2CURATE, have unveiled “Constellations,” a sculpture installation at 425 Park Avenue in Midtown East, Manhattan. Visible from Park Avenue and 55th Street, the work occupies a 5,000-square-foot glass-enclosed gallery at the southeast corner of the 897-foot-tall commercial skyscraper from Foster + Partners.
Permits have been filed for a nine-story residential building at 1806 Anthony Avenue in Tremont, The Bronx. Located between Prospect Place and East 176th Street, the lot is within walking distance of the 174-175th Streets subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Aziza Anderson of New York-based nonprofit Unique People Services is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The 24th-tallest building on our year-end construction countdown is 15 Hanover Place, a 463-foot-tall residential tower nearing completion in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by Lonicera Partners, the 34-story structure will span 295,000 square feet and yield 314 apartments, with 95 reserved for affordable housing, as well as 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Rabina is the co-developer and Noble Construction Group is the general contractor for the property, which was formerly addressed as 23 Hanover Place and is located at the corner of Livingston Street and Hanover Place.
On Thursday, the sale of 540 Atlantic Avenue in Boerum Hill to JSC Realty was completed. The $38.5 million deal was orchestrated by JLL Capital Markets, representing the legacy seller DMA Associates. JSC Realty plans to build a new mixed-use development comprising 154 units on the site.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1042 President Street, an eight-story residential building in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Designed by S. Wieder Architects and developed by Jacob Fulop, the structure yields 55 residences and 19 parking spaces. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 18 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $53,726 to $122,000.
