Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Three-Story, 55-Unit Residential Project at 1177 Warburton Avenue, Yonkers

Since plans were announced in July of 2015 for a three-story, 55-unit residential project at 1177 Warburton Avenue, located on the far-northern end of Yonkers, a groundbreaking ceremony was recently held, Westfair reported. Dubbed 1177@Greystone, the new building will contain luxury rental apartments ranging from 680-square-foot one-bedrooms to 1,245-square-foot three-bedrooms. Amenities include a fitness center and a club room, in addition to a private path to the Greystone station on Metro-North Railroad. Valhalla, N.Y.-based Ginsburg Development Companies is the developer. Completion is expected in 2017. Four vacant, single-family homes were demolished to make way for the new building.

Work Begins On Five-Story, 154-Key Marriott Hotel At 5 Executive Boulevard, Yonkers

Kansas-based True North Hotel Group has broken ground on a five-story, 154-key Marriott hotel at 5 Executive Boulevard, in northern Yonkers’ South Westchester Executive Park. The hotel group is partnered with the property’s owner, Robert Martin Company, and the structure will be the developer’s second hotel in the business park. The $24.5 million project is expected to be complete in mid-2016, according to News12 Westchester.

i.Park Hudson’s 96-Unit Residential Building At 9 Bashford Street Gets Financing, Yonkers

Developer National Resources has received a $14 million construction loan for their planned residential building associated with i.Park Hudson, a mixed-use campus featuring offices, retail and apartments in downtown Yonkers. The residential building, UNO, will measure 70,000 square feet and have 96 units, according to the Commercial Observer. Located at 9 Bashford Street, the existing five-story industrial building will be converted and expanded upon by four stories (based off renderings).
