The Doe Fund and Bolivar Development have officially kicked off construction at Tiffany Court Plaza in the Foxhurst section of The Bronx. Located at 980 Westchester Avenue, the mixed-use building will eventually top out at seven stories and will comprise approximately 155,000 square feet.
Renderings from IMC Architecture offer a first-look at a new 12-story mixed-use building in the Concourse Village section of The Bronx. Located at 299 East 161st Street, less than a mile away from Yankee Stadium, the property will top out at 124 feet with about 143,600 buildable square feet. Components include a mix of small residential apartments and ground-floor retail.
A 1,045-unit housing complex known as Bronx Point is now recognized as the first and only affordable housing project to achieve WEDG certification. The rating system was founded by the Waterfront Alliance, an independent offshoot of The Municipal Art Society of New York, that establishes guidelines for ecologically friendly waterfront design and construction.
Maddd Equities is responsible for one of the largest forthcoming developments in the South Bronx, a new 274,000-square-foot building in the borough’s Cromwell-Jerome neighborhood. Located at 1164 River Avenue, the development is currently in pre-construction and will eventually comprise 250 rental units and 88,000 square feet of lower-level commercial space.
A new four-story apartment building in the Charlotte Gardens section of the South Bronx may soon break ground following the release of architectural renderings from the project team. The development is located at 1432 Vyse Avenue and will eventually comprise 6,128 square feet of residential area.
