Renderings Reveal 383 Madison Avenue Overhaul in Midtown East, Manhattan

Renderings have been revealed for the upcoming redevelopment for 383 Madison Avenue, a 47-story office skyscraper in Midtown East, Manhattan. The design firms working on the building revamp include Foster + Partners, Gensler, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The 755-foot-tall structure was originally designed by SOM and spans 1.2 million square feet of office space with the banking investment division of JPMorgan Chase as the principal tenant. The property is bounded by Madison and Vanderbilt Avenues and East 46th and East 47th Streets.

Façade Installation Underway on 660 Lexington Avenue in Midtown East, Manhattan

Façade installation is progressing on 660 Lexington Avenue, a 19-story residential building in Midtown East, Manhattan. Developed and built by Sergey Rybak of Rybak Development and designed by project architect Zproekt Architecture and design architect S20M, the 233-foot-tall structure will span 52,558 square feet and yield 23 condominium units with an average scope of 2,123 square feet. The building will also contain 2,551 square feet of commercial space, 1,174 square feet of community facility space, and a cellar level. The property is alternately addressed as 133 East 55th Street and located at the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 55th Street.

Construction is moving along at 323 East 58th Street, a six-story mixed-use residential building in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by Sguera Architecture and developed by Andrew Impagliazzo under the 619W46 LLC, the structure will stand 60 feet tall and yield 15,279 square feet, with 12,279 square feet designated for residential space divided into 15 rental units averaging roughly 877 square feet each, 3,000 square feet for community facility space, and a cellar level. The property is located at the corner of East 58th Street and the ramp leading up to the upper road deck of the Queensboro Bridge between First and Second Avenues.
