New Empire Corp. has begun construction at 58-01 Queens Boulevard, a large assemblage in Woodside, Queens, where a 12-story residential property will soon take shape. Designed by Tang Studio Architect, the 120-unit building was initially announced as a condominium building with units that range from studios up to two-bedroom units.

Located between 58th Street and 59th Place, the lot is near the 61st Street-Woodside subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Bentley Zhao of New Empire Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications, after securing the site for $16.2 million.
