New renderings from J Frankl Architects reveal an updated design for 260 Gold Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Compared to the previous reveal, the building’s facade will now feature an expansive corner glass curtain wall, multiple atria, and additional greens spaces to both facilitate the flow of natural light and to improve the daily experience of occupants.
J Frankl Associates has released renderings for a new eight-story mixed-use property in Borough Park, Brooklyn following the issuance of permits from the New York City Department of Buildings. Located on a corner lot at 5501 New Utrecht Avenue, the reinforced concrete structure will feature an industrial-style brick and metal façade, and a large setback above the sixth floor for an outdoor terrace and additional residential area.
J Frank Associates has released preliminary renderings of a recently approved residential development in Astoria, Queens. The seven-story building will be located on a 25,000-square-foot through-block lot at 26-30 4th Street.
JFA has released a rendering for its approved six-story mixed-use building at 1118 Fulton Street in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The development will have 11 residential units with a mezzanine on the fifth and sixth stories, accessory spaces, bicycle parking on the ground level, and commercial spaces on the cellar and first floors.
After purchasing a five-building site at 54-62 West 125th Street this summer, Developer Jay Group recently secured $37 million in financing to develop the mixed-use property. Their 140,000 square-foot vision in Harlem, Manhattan includes one retail unit and the addition of 141 residential units to the area between Lenox and Fifth Avenues. The projected development site qualifies for both 421-a and Industrial and Commercial Abatement Program tax benefits for the mix of commercial and residential units—30 percent of which will be affordable. JFA is responsible for the design.
