Reveal For Two-Story Retail Building At 159 Ludlow Street, Lower East Side

Late last summer, YIMBY reported on applications for a two-story, 2,126 square-foot retail building at 159 Ludlow Street, on the Lower East Side, and now Bowery Boogie has the project’s reveal, which will take the form of a glassy structure. Hesky Haim and Continental Worsteds are the developers, and DXA Studio is designing the project, which it calls the ‘glass box’. The building appears to include some form of rooftop garden, and will be available as event space. The lot is currently vacant and construction is expected to begin in 2016.


14 White Street

Eight-Story, Six-Unit Mixed-Use Condo Building Planned At 14 White Street, TriBeCa

Nava Companies has filed applications for an eight-story, six-unit mixed-use building at 14 White Street, in TriBeCa. The project will measure 19,703 square feet in total and includes 3,816 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Beginning on the second floor, there will be a single residential unit on each floor through the sixth, and a duplex unit will span the top two floors. Units will surely be condos, averaging 2,866 square feet each. DXA Studio is the architect of record.

Full Renderings Of Five-Story, 32-Unit Residential Project At 280 St. Marks Avenue, Prospect Heights

Early last month, a partial rendering was revealed of the planned five-story, 32-unit residential project at 280 St. Marks Avenue, in Prospect Heights. Now, with sales having officially launched, additional renderings have been released, per Real Estate Weekly. DXA Studio is designing the building, which will reportedly be clad in nearly 16,000 Petersen Kolumba ceramic bricks. Condos units will come in one- to four-bedroom arrangements, and there will be six penthouses as well as two townhouse-style duplex units. DNA Development is behind the project, which should be complete in late 2016.

Partial Reveal For Five-Story, 32-Unit Condo Project At 280 St. Marks Avenue, Prospect Heights

In the final days of 2014, DNA Development filed applications for a five-story, 32-unit residential building at 280 St. Marks Avenue, in Prospect Heights, and now Curbed has a rendering of the project. The building will measure 51,301 square feet, and the units will be condominiums, averaging 1,603 square feet. The units will range from one- to five-bedrooms and all will feature outdoor space. DXA Studio is designing, and sales are expected to launch in the next few weeks.
