Schematic Posted For 15-Story, 46-Unit Residential Project At 41-32 27th Street, Long Island City

Late last year, YIMBY reported on applications for a 15-story hotel at 41-32 27th Street, in Long Island City, and since then, filings have been amended to instead build a 46-unit apartment building. Today, the site has been cleared of its two-story predecessor and almost completely excavated, per The Court Square Blog. The new building will measure 34,409 square feet, which means units will average 748 square feet apiece. A 1,131 square-foot outdoor space is also planned on the roof. Arc Architecture + Design Studio is designing, and completion is expected in early 2017.


39-32 28th Street

Two-Family Townhouse Planned For 39-32 28th Street, Long Island City

Soundview Partners has filed applications for a three-story, two-unit residential building at 39-32 28th Street, north of Court Square in Long Island City. The project will encompass 3,313 square feet of residential space, and Arc Architecture + Design Studio is designing. An existing two-story brick abode must first be demolished.



61 Schaefer Street

Eight-Family Building Planned for 61 Schaefer Street in Bushwick

Bedstuy Management LLC has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building measuring 5,417 square feet at 61 Schaefer Street, in souther Buschwick. ARC Architecture & Design Studio is designing, and the structure will include a fifth-floor penthouse level. An dilapidated two-story structure must first be demolished.
