Permits have been filed for a 15-story mixed-use building at 23 Spencer Street in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Park and Flushing Avenues, the lot is near the Flushing Avenue subway station, served by the G train. Moses Wertheimer of The Tower is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 180-foot-tall development will yield 71,562 square feet, with 44,244 square feet designated for community facility space space and 27,317 square feet for commercial space. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and multiple rooftop terraces, 130 enclosed parking spaces, and 56 open parking spaces.
Hamish Whitefield Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
