Permits have been filed for a five-story school building at 552 McDonald Avenue in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located between Church Avenue and Avenue C, the lot is near the Church Avenue subway station, served by the F and G trains. Jacob Bar Horin of 560 YD LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 71-foot-tall development will yield 37,999 square feet designated for community facility space. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, a fourth floor rooftop terrace, and one open parking space.
Lester Katz, NCarb is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
