Work is finished on the Fort Greene Family Center, an 11-story transitional housing facility at 108 Saint Edwards Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Westhab in partnership with Slate Property Group, the $73 million structure is now open and yields 105 transitional housing units for families with children. The property is located between Park and Myrtle Avenues on the site of the long-abandoned St. Michael-St. Edward Church.
Fort Greene Family Center features 1,405 square feet of community facility space, a children’s playground, and dedicated recreational areas. Residents have access to a range of on-site services including case management, employment counseling, youth programming, healthcare coordination, and financial literacy support. Notably, the building is all-electric and meets Enterprise Green Communities standards.
Transit nearby the development includes the Clinton–Washington Avenues station, served by the C train; Fulton Street, served by the G train; and Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center station, served by the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, R trains.
“This beautiful new residence exemplifies our commitment to providing not just shelter, but a thoughtful, service-rich environment where families can rebuild their lives with dignity,” said Richard Nightingale, CEO of Westhab. “When families have a foundation of quality housing, they can focus on the work of building self-sustaining futures: finding employment, enrolling children in school and accessing healthcare. Supporting them through that journey is how we end homelessness.”

This is not specifically for people transitioning gender.
Absurd comment—nothing at all to do with that.
You must be a MAGAt for baiting people with more unnecessary hate for transgenders 🤦🏼♀️
“transitional housing” is for individuals and familes experiencing homelessness, getting out of jail with no place to live, veterans, or those escaping domestic abuse.
Learn to read better you hateful idiot.
What a bonkers comment Matt
