The affordable housing lottery has launched for 2246 Bathgate Avenue, a four-story residential building in East Tremont, The Bronx. Designed by GRID Drafting and Consulting and developed by Gjergj Bujaj, the structure yields 14 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $75,840 to $108,560.
Residences are equipped with air conditioning, intercoms, energy-efficient appliances, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Amenities include elevator and online options for leasing, paying rent, and making maintenance requests. Tenants are responsible for electricity, including stove and heat.
At 80 percent of the AMI, there are three studios with a monthly rent of $2,000 for incomes ranging from $75,840 to $108,560.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than August 12, 2026.
