Permits have been filed for a 12-story mixed-use building at 110 East 138th Street in Mott Haven, The Bronx. Located between Harlem River Drive and Park Avenue, the lot is steps from the 138th Street–Grand Concourse subway station, served by the 4 and 5 trains. Reia Tong of Douglaston Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 127-foot-tall development will yield 98,632 square feet, with 96,753 square feet designated for residential space and 1,879 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 183 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 528 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a basement and a 40-foot-long rear yard.

John Woelfling of Dattner Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed this month to remove the two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Dattner Architects, this will look good. Very visible location too.

  2. When did they rename the Major Deegan the Harlem River Drive?

    *face palm*

  3. Also just a completely wrong location description..

  4. What’s disappointing is how this station should have the biggest potential for development – it is, after all, the quickest way to get to Midtown from the Bronx on the express 4-5 lines.
Yet it is obstructed by two overpasses that constrain the immediate development on adjacent sites. This could have otherwise been a tall highrise.
