Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 408 East 116th Street in East Harlem, Manhattan. Located between First Avenue and Pleasant Avenue, the lot is near the 116th Street subway station, served by the 6 train. Imer Cami of AVC General Contracting is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 17,924 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 23 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 779 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 34-foot-long rear yard.
Michael Muroff Architect LLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
