Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 88 Reade Street in Tribeca, Manhattan. Located at the intersection of Church Street and Reade Street, the lot is one block from the Chambers Street subway station, served by the 1, 2, and 3 trains. Ciro Salcedo of Trans World Equities is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 92-foot-tall development will yield 18,190 square feet, with 15,153 square feet designated for residential space and 3,037 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 19 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 797 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.
Miro Stracar of Stracar Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Aw, Pakistani Tea House used to be there. I miss that place. Hopefully the new building will be decent.
9 stories and 19 units is criminally underachieving for a site in this location.
It could be worse: 56 floors and 26 units?
There goes my view! This is such a bummer as that corner gives a lot of light to 132, 134, and 138 Duane Street units. Most of which are long time Tribeca residents
wahhh
Im so entitled because I lived here a long time!
wahhhh
My understanding from Tribeca South Historic District report is that the Trinity Church African Burial Ground is beneath 88-92 Reade Street
