Permits have been filed to expand a two-story structure into a four-story residential building at 235 Jackson Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Kingsland Avenue and Woodpoint Road, the lot is near the Graham Avenue subway station, served by the L train. Asher Pashkes is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 3,614 square feet designated for residential space. The building will house six residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 602 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 40-foot-long rear yard.
Baobab Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for a horizontal and vertical expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Keep the cornice!
For some stupid reason, those often get destroyed in expansions.
Oh good, another abomination.
