Located between West 230th Street and West 231st Street, the lot is near the 231st Street subway station, serviced by the 1 train. Jayesh Gajjar under the Corlear Management LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 5,419 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 677 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 38-foot-long rear yard.
Chi F. Lau Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed last month for the two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
