1140 Grant Avenue in Pelham Manor, The Bronx via NYC Housing Connect

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1140 Grant Avenue, a five-story residential building in Pelham Manor, The Bronx. Designed by Rise Architecture, the structure yields 15 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 15 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $113,726 to $227,630.

Residences come with energy-efficient appliances, intercoms, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity which includes stove and heat.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are five one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,317 for incomes ranging from $113,726 to $165,230; two two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,963 for incomes ranging from $135,875 to $198,250; and eight three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $4,563 for incomes ranging from $156,446 to $212,940.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than January 29, 2024.
