Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 132-77 Metropolitan Avenue in Kew Gardens, Queens. Located between Kew Gardens Road and Hillside Avenue, the lot is steps from the Jamaica-Van Wyck subway station, serviced by the E trains. Steven Li is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 78-foot-tall development will yield 32,700 square feet, with 26,645 square feet designated for residential space, 4,085 square feet for commercial space, and 1,968 square feet for a community facility. The building will have 40 residences with 13 units designated as affordable housing for seniors. Residences will have an average unit scope of 666 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 14 enclosed parking spaces.

Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
