Permits have been filed to expand a three-story structure into a five-story residential building at 415 Degraw Street in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Located between Hoyt Street and Bond Street, the lot is near the Bergen Street subway station, serviced by the F and G trains. Carlos Saavedra of Eckstrom NYC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 10,292 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have six residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,715 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and two open parking spaces.
HPL Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for a vertical expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
