Tishman Speyer has launched ZO Global Access, an amenity access program spanning its global portfolio of commercial office properties. An expansion of its existing ZO amenity program, ZO Global Access opens available services and facilities to office workers in any of the company’s 41 properties in the United States and abroad.

In New York City, this includes The Spiral, Rockefeller Center, the MetLife Building, 300 Park Avenue, 11 West 42nd Street, and six other Class A commercial properties.

A snapshot of the amenities available to workers in the five boroughs includes meeting rooms, flexible event spaces, dining spaces, tenant lounges, massage rooms, barbers, wellness spaces, and more.

At The Spiral, a Hudson Yards supertall skyscraper still under construction, Tishman Speyer has partnered with Turner Construction Company to also offer construction workers access to the amenity spaces.

“Our customers are more mobile than ever before, and their life and work take them to destinations across the globe,” said EB Kelly, senior managing director at Tishman Speyer, who oversees the ZO program. “ZO Global Access gives them an instant community and the familiarity of our amenities, wherever they may be.”

Spending millions on amenity spaces won’t bring people back to the office. Bringing back cubicles so employees aren’t staring into the faces of their coworkers across the common long table would be money better spent. Work from home is destroying urban centers all over the world.

    • David, get out of Bushwick and walk around Midtown durning the week. TONS of people here going to work!

BTW, I work in Midtown 5 days a week, pre and post-pandemic.

I agree 100%! The future reality of work (for a lot of us) means video conference calls with remote workers whether you’re at home or in the office. Running to a tiny phone booth with your laptop for every call just doesn’t cut it… since it’s just downright rude to do a conference call at an open desk surrounded by coworkers. Even if you NEVER make work phone calls it doesn’t mean there won’t be 100 distractions per day all around you. It’s all so illogical. Dedicated desks with lockable storage and sound-dampening walls just need to come back. Amenity spaces are great, and necessary. I just think the tenants themselves are missing the mark.
