The affordable housing lottery has launched for 2316 Clarendon Road, a seven-story residential building in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Designed by BTE Design Services and developed by Rabbi Teitelbaum, the structure yields 15 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $75,429 to $187,330.

Residences come with energy-efficient appliances, air conditioning, and intercoms. Tenants are responsible for electricity, which includes stove, heat, and hot water.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are two one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,200 for incomes ranging from $75,429 to $156,130, and three two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,450 for incomes ranging from $84,000 to $187,330.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 2, 2023.

  2. Who are we fooling? This EIFS turd looks like absolute crap next to the beautiful patterned brick facade of the pre-war next door. Vut for something truly awe inspiring check out the orange sherbet freak show a few doors down. Shocking.

  3. this isn’t affordable housing
    This is income linked housing for upper middle income and upper income people, not the low or middle income that really need this housing.
    The millionaire developer used the dead 421A NYS Taxpayer subsidy to build

  4. Only developers can afford to purchase houses in Brooklyn. It is unfortunate that people who were born and raised in Brooklyn can’t afford to purchase and live in Brooklyn at those ridiculous prices. The developers purchase and add the most ugly structures increasing 2-3 apartments significantly increasing their income. Can the residents in the area afford to do the same?
