Tidhar Group has closed on an $80 million construction loan to complete a 52-unit condominium building at 200 East 20th Street in Gramercy Park, Manhattan. Designed by CetraRuddy, the building will top out at 210 feet and is expected to debut in 2024. The building will also house 2,730 square feet of unspecified ground-floor retail space at the corner of East 20th Street and Third Avenue.

Updated renderings of the building illustrate a departure from the black and gray façade shown in previous drawings. Instead, the building will feature bronze ornamental fins, gently rounded corners, and a series of setbacks to make room for private residential terraces and communal outdoor space.

Additional amenity spaces will include a fitness center, a pet spa, a children’s room, and bicycle storage, with more to be announced as construction continues.

The construction loan was provided by BHI, a commercial banking services provider and US-based affiliate of Israel’s of Bank Hapoalim.

“We have maintained an ongoing banking relationship with the Tidhar Group and are excited to provide the financing for the firm’s prestigious new project in Gramercy, one of the most dynamic areas of Manhattan,” said Ilana Druyan, first vice president, real estate international at BHI. “200 East 20th Street complements our strategic focus on residential condominium developments and the financing of significant projects in key locations.”
