108 Downing Street in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn via NYC Housing Connect

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 108 Downing Street, an eight-story mixed-use building in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Daniel Kimya under the Fulton Star LLC, the structure yields 50 residences and 9,196 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 15 units for residents at 70 to 120 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $38,160 to $172,920.

Amenities include bike storage lockers, gym, storage, package lockers, rooftop terrace, and a on-site resident manager.
Residences include in-unit washers and dryers, dishwashers, air conditioning, smart controls for heating and cooling, intercoms, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 70 percent of the AMI, there are five units with a monthly rent ranging from $1,036 to $1,044 for incomes ranging from $38,160 to $84,070. At 80 percent of the AMI, there are five units with a monthly rent ranging from $1,184 to $1,436 for incomes ranging from $44,435 to $115,280. At 120 percent of the AMI, there are five units with a monthly rent ranging from $2,241 to $2,883 for incomes ranging from $76,835 to $172,920.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than January 30, 2023.
