Permits have been filed for a 19-story mixed-use building at 570 Washington Street in Hudson Square, Manhattan. Located between Clarkson Street and the Holland Tunnel, the lot is three blocks west of the Houston Street subway station, serviced by the 1 train. ACI VI Clarkson LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications, with reports of Zeckendorf Development and Atlas Capital purchasing the site for $340 million.

The proposed 125-foot-tall development will yield 937,808 square feet with ground-floor retail space, five floors of apartments, and ten floors dedicated to senior living with the rest designated for mechanicals. The building will have 169 residences. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar.

SLCE Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. I’ve been wondering what was going to happen with this hunk of land. (For those that do not know, the piece of the old St. John’s Terminal building that was demolished sat here.)
