Linden Terrace II in East New York, Brooklyn via NYC Housing Connect

The affordable housing lottery has launched for Linden Terrace II, an eight-story mixed-use building at 573 Emerald Street in East New York, Brooklyn. Designed by Magnusson Architecture and Planning and developed by Radson Development, the structure yields 160 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 129 units for residents at 30 to 70 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $16,183 to $115,850.

Amenities include an on-site resident manager, outdoor landscaped terrace, a community lounge, bicycle storage, covered parking, shared laundry room, and a children’s playroom. Residences come with air conditioning.

At 30 percent of the AMI, there are 14 units with a monthly rent ranging from $397 to $683 for incomes ranging from $16,183 to $49,650. At 50 percent of the AMI, there are 36 units with a monthly rent ranging from $738 to $1,274 for incomes ranging from $27,875 to $82,750. At 60 percent of the AMI, there are 31 units with a monthly rent ranging from $1,143 to $1,570 for incomes ranging from $42,069 to $99,300. At 70 percent of the AMI, there are 48 units with a monthly rent ranging from $1,356 to $1,865 for incomes ranging from $49,372 to $115,850.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than November 14, 2022.
