Construction Progresses on 378 and 389 Weirfield Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn

Construction is progressing on 378 and 389 Weirfield Street, a pair of five- and 12-story residential buildings in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Brooklyn-based The Horizon Group, the structures will yield more than 98,000 square feet and 105 rental units.

The five-story building at 378 Weirfield Street comprises 40,476 square feet with 25,876 square feet of residential area and will yield 39 rental apartments, an unspecified collection of amenities, and a 38-foot-long rear yard. The 12-story building at 389 Weirfield Street comprises 58,050 square feet with more than 43,000 square feet designated for residential area. The structure will have 66 rentals, 54 enclosed parking spaces, and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Work on 378 Weirfield is nearing completion, while the reinforced concrete superstructure for 389 Weirfield Street is approaching topping out.

When construction permits were filed in 2020, the buildings were expected to debut early 2023. It is unclear whether the buildings are still on schedule.
