Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 65 Eckford Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Located between Driggs Avenue and Engert Avenue, the lot is four blocks from the Nassau Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. Abe Posner is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 20,276 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 24 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 844 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 21 enclosed parking spaces.
S. Wieder Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
