The affordable housing lottery has launched for 100 Lenox Road, an eight-story residential building in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Designed by S. Wieder Architect with Input Creative Studio as the interior design team and Beitel as the developer, the structure yields 95 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 29 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $64,286 to $167,570.

Residents will have access to a wide range of amenities including a virtual doorman, a gym, business center, lounge, rooftop terrace, bike storage, package lockers, shared laundry room, common area Wi-Fi, green space, and a garage with electric vehicle charging stations. Units include dishwashers, washers and dryers, smart control for heating and cooling, large living areas, and name-brand appliances and finishes. Residents get a free iPhone or $1,000 at lease signing, in addition to a one-year waived $300 amenity fee.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are five studios with a monthly rent of $1,875 for incomes ranging from $64,286 to $124,150; 15 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,050 for incomes ranging from $70,286 to $139,620; and nine two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,395 for incomes ranging from $82,115 to $167,570.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than May 16, 2022.

  1. Stop calling this “affordable housing”. Affordable for who? Not the low income people who live in the hood.
    This is ” income based housing” and out of reach for any low income people in this neighborhood. This is for upper middle income and upper income people only. This isa joke and a giveaway to rich greedy multi millionaire developers. Thanks DEBlasio.
