Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 790 Liberty Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Berriman Street, the lot is two blocks north of the Shepherd Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Salvatore Mendolia of But Why Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 13,810 square feet, with 10,814 square feet designated for residential space and 2,996 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 15 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 720 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.

P. Georgopoulos Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
