The affordable housing lottery has launched for 325 Gates Avenue, a six-story mixed-use building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by ND Architecture & Design and developed by Renaissance Realty Group, the structure yields 48 residences and ground-floor retail space for five storefronts. Available on NYC Housing Connect are seven units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $72,138 to $167,570.

Amenities include assigned parking, common area Wi-Fi, gym, a recreation room, and a rooftop terrace. Residences come with hardwood floors throughout, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, granite countertops, washer and dryer in unit, recessed lights, exposed brick, and large windows.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are four studios with a monthly rent of $2,104 for incomes ranging from $72,138 to $124,150 and three two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,692 for incomes ranging from $92,298 to $167,570.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than September 3, 2021.

    I think that insane to charge that much rent in that area. Is this to run black n brown people out if the area?

  5. Not an affordable unit as advertised. Studio should be for $900 the most. It is not a heavenly studio apartment. Problems everywhere. Keep out the poor dignified person and provide housing for the lawless one.
