Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 162 Covert Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Wilson Avenue and Central Avenue, the interior lot is four blocks west of the Wilson Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Mark Weiss of 162A Coverts Street LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 7,489 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 936 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Bahram Tehrani of Best Engineering Technology is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed for the residential building on the property. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
