Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 2700 Church Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Rogers Avenue and Church Avenue, the lot is two blocks west of the Church Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Yanky Geldzahler under the 2700 Church Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 22,858 square feet, with 11,271 square feet designated for residential space, 4,100 square feet for community facility space, and 1,492 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 16 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 704 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar.

Naresh Mahangu of NY Building Associates Inc. is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in March 2020 for a two-story building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Who could count the most presentable, that relating to its development article: Thank you.

  2. Check back in two years to find Yanky Geldzahler on the worst landlords list.

  3. Building there now is a ‘movie set’..too bad.

  4. These landlords WILL ONLY RENT TO INCOME OVER $40,000 INCOME A YEAR . THEY ARE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH MOVING ONLY CERTAIN PEOPLE IN. ONE TO GUESS WHO?

  5. A nice old bldg. Looks like a vacant lot next door, why not build on that?

    • That vacant lot belongs to the laundromat on the other side of the lot. Finally, the worst restaurant in Brooklyn will be no more 🤣🤣🤣

    • Exactly – sad that what could be a nice renovation with turn into an ugly McBuilding.
